Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
ThredOps ("we", "our", or "us") provides a strategic command centre for Threads creators. This policy explains how we collect, manage, and protect your data, specifically in relation to our integration with the Meta Threads Graph API.
2. Data Collection & API Usage
To provide our analytics and scheduling features, ThredOps requests access to your Threads account via the official Meta Graph API. We only access data for which you have provided explicit consent. This includes:
- Profile Information: Username, account ID, and follower metrics.
- Content Data: Post history, engagement statistics (likes, replies), and media metadata.
- Insights: Aggregated demographic data (age ranges, gender distribution, and approximate location).
Note: We do not access or store your Meta/Threads login credentials. Authentication is handled entirely via Meta’s secure OAuth 2.0 protocol.
3. Data Management and Retention
Data retrieved from the Threads API is used exclusively to power the AI Strategist and Deep Audit features. We store historical snapshots of your metrics in a secure, encrypted database to provide growth tracking over time.
We retain this data only for as long as you maintain an active ThredOps account. If your account is inactive for more than 12 months, or if you choose to delete your account, all associated Meta API data is purged from our systems immediately.
4. User Control & Data Deletion
In compliance with Meta Platform Terms, we provide a simple way for you to manage and delete your data:
- Revoke Access: You can disconnect your Threads profile at any time via the ThredOps Settings panel.
- Data Deletion Request: To request the permanent deletion of all data ThredOps has stored about your account, please email support@thredops.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
- Meta Callback: You can also remove the ThredOps app directly from your Facebook/Meta account settings under "Apps and Websites".
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption and secure database protocols, to protect your data from unauthorised access. Access to our internal databases is strictly limited to essential personnel required for system maintenance.
6. Cookie Policy
ThredOps uses cookies to provide a secure and functional experience. This policy details how we use these small text files on your device:
- Authentication: We use a secure JSON Web Token (JWT) cookie to verify your identity and keep you logged into your dashboard.
- Security & Payments: Our payment processor, Stripe, uses essential cookies to prevent fraud and process secure transactions.
- Support Desk: If you interact with our support desk or live chat, a cookie is used to store your chat history so we can maintain continuity.
No Third-Party Tracking: ThredOps does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels (such as the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics) on our application pages. We value your privacy and only track what is necessary to run the service.
Managing Cookies: You can manage or delete cookies via your browser settings. However, please be aware that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging into the ThredOps dashboard.
